Our surgical suite is equipped with an EKG monitor that measures a continuous EKG during the surgical procedure. Also equipped is a pulse oximeter that measures the patients oxygen level in the blood stream during the anesthesia. Patients undergoing surgery are intubated and maintained under anesthesia with isoflurane. Oxygen and Isoflurane are delivered to our surgical patients through a gas Anesthesia machine. An electro cautery unit in the surgury room meets all our cautery needs including removal of tumors.
